Big Tree project

With this project, Stenden SIFE Leeuwarden teaches children of the 7^th and 8^th grade the basics of entrepreneurship and selling products. SIFE works on this project in co-operation with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

The Big Tree event takes place on three days over a three weeks period of time. In the first two workshops the children will be taught about the theory of selling products and in the third their newly acquired knowledge is applied to a practical situation.  On the third day they will bake and sell their products to their teachers, parents and other students, while taking into account business principals, including inter alia making profit or supply and demand.
