What is SIFE?
Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a global non-profit organization, which operates in over 1800 college and university campuses in over 40 countries. SIFE works together with businesses and higher education, to create a better environment. SIFE is entirely run by students. While creating economical opportunities for others, SIFE members also enhance their own leadership skills. Since the foundation in 1975, SIFE has made a positive difference in the world.
Our motto is: “Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day; teach a man to fish, and he will eat for a lifetime”.
Our mission statement is: “Improving quality of life in communities world wide by educating, inspiring and stimulating the pursuit of sustainable entrepreneurship, constructive co-operation and financial independence.”
